Summary

A group of injured defenders at the east gate, led by Huai De and Nora Bai, faces a fierce attack from griffin knights and Ox Heads. Despite their bravery, the defenders struggle against overwhelming odds, with many sustaining severe injuries. As the situation deteriorates, the remaining warriors, filled with desperation, attempt a final stand by detonating their soul seas in a last-ditch effort to fend off the attackers. However, reinforcements from the enemy arrive, crushing any remaining hope. Huai De reflects on his earlier decisions and the tragic fate awaiting them, ultimately accepting their grim reality and the choice of how they will confront their end.
