Summary

In the Han army's central tent, a general, humiliated by a crushing defeat, kneels to plead for forgiveness after his 100,000 troops are nearly annihilated by the Song army's ambush. Commander Jin Jue reassures him, attributing the loss to his own miscalculations. The return of the formidable Luo Zhao to lead the Song army raises concerns for the Han forces. Meanwhile, in the Song camp, Luo Zhao acknowledges his luck in the recent victory but knows the battle is far from over. As tensions rise, Feng Guan Er is approached by Guan Ji Tai, who seeks her help to persuade Luo Zhao to cooperate with a plot to change the emperor. Despite her protests, the situation escalates, leading to a confrontation in the imperial palace where the three major sects attempt to seize control, holding Emperor Mu Zhuo Zhen's children hostage to retrieve the national treasure.
