Summary

After the Sui army defeated Lin Zheng Biao's troops, Li Shi Min focused on monitoring the Sui's movements and transporting pig iron to Chang'an. He had no intention of aiding Lin Shi Hong, instead aiming to seize his warships. However, the Sui army destroyed Lin Zheng Wei's navy, leading Li Shi Min to lose interest in the battle at Poyang Lake. Meanwhile, in Jiangling City, Xiao Xi faced pressure from the advancing Tang armies and considered relocating the capital.
