Summary

In Kyoto, Li Yi and Miss Liu Er join Lin Wan Ru and Ru Yi, who quickly become friends. Li Yi learns that Lin Yong and the others are staying in a random inn and offers to help them move. Meanwhile, merchants from Qi express distress over heavy taxes imposed by local officials. Li Yi reassures them and decides to address the issue at the Ministry of Revenue. After a brief encounter with a nervous official, Li Yi suggests they eat before resolving the matter. They enter a tavern only to find it full, but a fortunate coincidence leads to an available table as some patrons leave.
