Summary

Zong Ze expresses frustration over Du Chong's refusal to provide food assistance to the Hebei volunteer army, which led to a disastrous defeat against the Jin soldiers. Li Yan Qing suggests that the volunteers need to be better controlled and integrated into the regular army for effective resistance. They discuss the need for a defensive strategy and the long-term effort required to reclaim Hebei.
