Chapter 847: Du Yu's Poem, Written by Others. [847]

Summary

Du Yu's indifference to Princess Yun Ya's challenge escalates tensions as Zhong Hang Le threatens dire consequences for failing to impress her with poetry. An ambush of elite reverse-type literati surrounds the Stork Tower, intensifying the stakes. Although the Great Tang's Xu Shao asserts their territorial rights, Yun Ya playfully demands better poetry from the Tang scholars, humiliating them with her perceived superiority. Amidst the chaos, Du Yu's reputation is exploited by the Mongolian princess, who reveals her admiration for his supposed works, leaving him infuriated at the misrepresentation. The atmosphere thickens with rivalry, ego, and the looming threat of conflict.
