Summary

Dong Yi waits for a person who is late, while observing the shop next door under renovation. He encounters Xu Wen Jie, the shop owner, who seems resentful about Dong Yi's presence. Dong Yi receives a call from Grandma Zhang, who requests his help for her seriously ill granddaughter. Despite a potential confrontation with the person who poisoned him, he prioritizes saving lives and heads to Grandma Zhang's traditional Chinese medicine shop. There, he meets Wu Ming, who initially misunderstands Dong Yi's purpose for visiting. Grandma Zhang clarifies that Dong Yi is there to treat her granddaughter, leading to tension between Wu Ming and Grandma Zhang regarding family matters. Wu Hao Ran, Wu Ming's grandfather and a national master, also enters the scene, expressing respect for Dong Yi.
