Summary

Most guests departed after the banquet, leaving Yang Qing and Qin Wei Wei behind. As she gazed towards the inner palace, she felt a pang of longing for Miao Yi, now married. Yang Qing questioned her feelings for him, and though she hesitated, she implicitly acknowledged her affection. Yang Qing expressed concern for her happiness and warned her about Miao Yi's changing nature. Despite his warnings, Qin Wei Wei insisted on her right to dream. Meanwhile, Miao Yi and his bride, Yun Zhi Qiu, enjoyed their wedding night, basking in newfound freedom and happiness. The next day, they greeted guests, and Yun Zhi Qiu received a generous dowry from her grandfather, revealing her independence and the wealth she had accumulated.
