Summary

Du Yu faces Jia Yu, who flaunts his new military authority and threatens Du Yu, poisoned by "Karl Marx." Jia Yu, eager to usurp command, covets Du Yu's wife, Lin Xing He, who defends her husband fiercely. Du Yu claims knowledge of ancient medical practices, surprising everyone. He writes ominously, invoking Bian Que, and as he does, he begins expelling the poison from his body. Unbeknownst to Jia Yu, the very poison he mocked is now entering him. Du Yu cleverly uses this moment to turn the tables, channeling the poison away from himself and into Jia Yu, all while maintaining the façade of bravado. As Du Yu continues to write, he gains strength, his plan unfolding with the potential to save himself while ensnaring his enemy.
