Summary

Xiang Fa learns of Liu Yan Qing's death and quickly mobilizes his 30,000 troops to surround Liu Yan Qing's remaining forces. Meanwhile, Liu Yan Qing's troops are in disarray after hearing the news, with Wu An Cheng rallying some to follow him while others hesitate. As chaos ensues, Xiang Fa's forces successfully encircle the camp, capturing many soldiers. Despite losing over 10,000 men, Xiang Fa orders his cavalry to pursue deserters and plans to rest before continuing their advance. In Wuxi County, Liu Yan Qing's forces regroup, but face a shortage of armor and weapons. Magistrate Lu Zhi Yuan informs Liu Yan Qing of a military supply depot in Suzhou, prompting Liu Yan Qing to prepare to move south. Just as they are about to depart, news arrives that a faction of the Jiangnan army is approaching, creating a new urgency.
