Summary

Cao Rui orders Tian Yu and Qian Zhao to support Sima Yi, as he believes Sima Yi is no match for Zhuge Liang. Tian Yu and Qian Zhao are worried about facing their old friend Liu Bei, but they are determined to remain loyal to their lord. Sima Yi tries to manipulate them into trapping Liu Bei, but they refuse to fall for his schemes. Sima Yi then secretly orders Wang Chang and Hu Zun to ambush Liu Bei, despite promising Tian Yu and Qian Zhao that there would be no fourth person present. Xu Huang is disgusted by Sima Yi's actions and refuses to help. Liu Bei receives a letter from Tian Yu and Qian Zhao and is overjoyed to meet them again, but Ma Chao warns him to be cautious.
