Summary

Tripitaka was captured by the Yellow Wind Monster's subordinate. The Yellow Wind Monster glared at Tripitaka, furious at the mention of Amitabha Buddha. Tripitaka tried to reason with the monster, claiming they were on the same side since they both disliked the Western teachings. The Yellow Wind Monster was baffled by Tripitaka's words and social skills. Tripitaka continued to persuade the monster, explaining that eating his flesh would not grant immortality. He claimed it was a rumor spread by the Western teachings to trick monsters. The Yellow Wind Monster began to see reason, but just as Tripitaka thought he had convinced the monster, he was hit on the head.
