Summary

The Shen Zu's Shen Xuan Lu and the Tian Wai Tian Cosmic realm were separated by a chasm easily crossed by strong individuals. Upon arrival, they found the Shen Zu had already retreated. Mo Wuji anticipated this, knowing the various races had wiped out the Shen Zu cultivators. He planned to control Shen Xuan Lu to weaken the Shen Zu over time. The Blood Clan's Dao Di Ni Kai inquired about annihilating the remaining Shen Zu realms, but Mo Wuji suggested focusing on Shen Xuan Lu first. As he prepared for the tribulation of his beast companion "Shuai Guo," he sensed a commotion from the Immortal Realm regarding "Shuai Guo." Mo Wuji instructed others to eliminate the remaining Shen Zu cultivators while he stayed behind to protect "Shuai Guo." After the others left, "Shuai Guo" expressed excitement about undergoing tribulation. Mo Wuji provided resources for its tribulation, and "Shuai Guo" surprisingly began to consume lightning arcs during the process. Meanwhile, Wu Wang, the only Dao Di of the Shen Zu, self-exploded under siege, leading to the discovery of the Shen Zu's relics. After "Shuai Guo" successfully passed its tribulation, it revealed it had obtained part of an inheritance and mentioned a dangerous wooden nail it had swallowed, called Shen Yin Mu Ding. Mo Wuji decided to investigate the Shen Zu's Shen Xuan Ting, which appeared magnificent but had already been partially stripped of resources by earlier arrivals. He quickly traversed a wide stone path leading to a massive hall, where he encountered the Demon Race's Ce Hong, who recognized "Shuai Guo" as part of their lineage.
