Tokyo: I Sheltered the Homeless girl (1-156).

Chapter 82: The Forbidden Brush and the Breakfast Appointment. [81]

Summary

In this chapter, Sawayama Haruno is approached by his little sister, Sakurano, early in the morning. She feigns sadness to elicit sympathy and suggests they go out for breakfast, claiming she wants to treat him after he treated her the previous day. Their breakfast at a nearby bakery is less than satisfying for Haruno, who dislikes the hard French baguette that Sakurano enjoys. As they head to the University of Tokyo, they encounter a noisy crowd on the train, leading to Haruno reflecting on children and parenting. Once at the library, Ayano Yui, their friend who accompanies them, feels disappointed by the library’s decor, expecting something more impressive from such a prestigious university. As Haruno focuses on his writing for a competition, Yui becomes bored and decides to draw a naughty comic featuring herself and Haruno. Despite the tension of Haruno's writing process, Yui is excited about her drawing, using her artistic skills to create it in the library setting. As they settle into their tasks, Haruno struggles with the quality of his writing, realizing he needs to revise and polish his work, while Yui fully immerses herself in her sketching, reveling in her creativity and the challenge of capturing a playful scene.
