Summary

In the aftermath of a Wind Wolves attack, Ming Rui is cared for by Fu Lei, who attends to all his needs. Fu Lei is later summoned by his father, Lang, to discuss building sturdy houses like Ming Rui's for the tribe's safety. Ming Rui's design is acknowledged, and plans are made to support the Grassland Mastiff Tribe, who have joined them. The tribe decides to share resources, including frozen meat and dried vegetables, to help the newcomers survive the winter. Ming Rui, feeling the dangers of their world, resolves to help build stronger defenses for the tribe, drawing inspiration from a game he played about city-building.
