Summary

The ICU is a critical care unit for gravely ill patients. A young boy's mother lies comatose, and he mentions an old man with no body who sent him to knock on the door. The narrator investigates and discovers troubling medical records of another patient, Jiang Shi Han, who exhibits strange behavior that worsens at night. Her condition deteriorates despite treatment, leading to self-harm and an attempted escape. When the narrator realizes Jiang Shi Han has vanished, they find blood and follow it to the elevator, suspecting she's been taken to the basement morgue. Determined to save her, they rush down the emergency stairs.
