Chapter 815: Yamakoshi's Counterattack, Sun Quan's Headache. [816]
Summary
Sun Quan returns to Jianye after his defeat in Xuzhou and faces a new crisis with the Yamakoshi uprising. He orders Quan Cong to quell the rebellion, but Quan Cong is hesitant due to rumors of the Yamakoshi leader Cheng Wu's ties with Liu Mang. Despite his doubts, Quan Cong accepts the task. Cheng Wu, however, has received aid from three famous Shu generals, Zhang Yi, Ju Fu, and Liu Yin, who have brought their elite troops to assist him. The Shu generals employ a guerrilla warfare strategy, plundering and retreating into the mountains, leaving Quan Cong's troops frustrated and unable to catch up. Quan Cong's repeated attempts to defeat the mountain barbarians end in failure, and he becomes increasingly angry and humiliated.Full content
