Summary

Zhou Yi Xing and Bai Xiao Chun are perplexed by the sight of an old man in black fishing by the Nether River, which others cannot see. Bai Xiao Chun experiences growing unease and recalls a traumatic encounter with a ghost in the past. Despite his fears, Bai Hao is drawn to the old man, leading to a tense moment where Bai Xiao Chun rushes to save him. Upon confronting the old man, Bai Xiao Chun realizes he is the Shou Ling person who once saved his life and granted him a portion of the Immortal Scroll. However, the Shou Ling person ignores Bai Xiao Chun's pleas for help and disappears with the river at dawn. Determined to connect with him again, Bai Xiao Chun spends the next half month trying to summon the old man, observed by Zhou Yi Xing and Wu Dao, who find his behavior increasingly eerie.
