Summary

As autumn arrives, the Haifeng Internet Cafe near Nanjiang United University is mostly empty, reflecting the decline of the internet cafe industry due to the prevalence of laptops and smartphones. Inside, a young woman and two men, all freshmen, are engrossed in a video game. The girl, Ma Miao Miao, is competitive and loud, while the chubby boy, Zhai Ming Zhe, plays provocatively. The ordinary-looking boy, Yue Chen, is studying forensic science at the university, which struggles to provide job opportunities. Despite a brief romantic relationship that ended poorly, Yue Chen enjoys life with his friends, finding joy in their camaraderie. He is also cultivating his abilities, having lit up his third star palace, which relates to the rules of emptiness. The trio leaves the cafe to help Ma Miao Miao's sister, encountering the newly transformed Moon Palace club, owned by Bai Man, who has prospered since receiving financial help from Yue Chen.
