Summary

Shi Mu successfully passes the first assessment given by the Old Ancestor Bai Yuan, who praises him for his martial arts talent and rewards him with the 'Da Fan Pan Wu Zhen Jing' cultivation method. Although Shi Mu is excited, he learns that he has yet to awaken the bloodline of the heavenly beast, which is necessary for further progress. After exiting the Mystic Realm, Shi Mu faces discussions about his potential appointment as Clan Chief, but he has not retrieved the Clan Chief's token, leading to hesitation among the elders. Ultimately, he is offered the position of Fourth Elder, which he accepts to better understand the clan and enhance his cultivation. He is then shown to his new accommodations, where he meets two clan members, Bai Yao and Bai Feng, who will assist him.
