Summary

In an underground bar controlled by gang leader Val, a soldier named Wang Hao is fleeing from Zombies. Val, enjoying his power, is initially uninterested in the soldier's plight but eventually decides to check it out. Wang Hao, pretending to be a desperate soldier, is rescued by Val's men and brought to Val. He tells Val that his team was ambushed and the city is overrun by Zombies. Val, worried about his illegal activities being exposed, plays along. When a gang member assaults Claire, a woman Wang Hao knows, he intervenes and knocks the man out. Val feigns ignorance and uses Claire to manipulate Wang Hao. Later, Wang Hao and Claire discuss the dire situation, revealing that many people are trapped in the bar's basement. Wang Hao deceives Claire about the military's intentions, claiming they are evacuating the city, and convinces her to help him find the keys to a trailer for escape.
