Summary

Feng Bu Jue suspects a murder case after hearing a scream in a villa. He and Barton find Madam Carol distressed outside a guest room where a man’s corpse, Denis, is discovered. As others arrive, Feng Bu Jue takes charge, instructing Oliver to call the police and asking Madam Odetta to inform her husband. He deduces it's a locked-room murder, noting the closed window and locked door. Tension rises as Jack realizes the murderer might still be in the room, but Feng Bu Jue dismisses this possibility. Meanwhile, Dr. Powell tends to Henderson, who faints from shock. The chapter ends with the group awaiting further developments.
