Summary

Liu Feng, after walking for hours in the cold, discovers a small house while seeking shelter. Inside, he overhears a conversation that reveals the presence of dangerous creatures known as the Icebound Ones. He meets a muscular man named Li Tian, who initially questions him but is soon appeased by Liu Feng's offer of food. They share stories about their encounters with the Icebound Ones, and Liu Feng learns about Li Tian's survival experience. Eventually, Liu Feng is allowed to stay the night, albeit on a table outside, as Li Tian heads to the bedroom with his wife.
