Summary

In this narrative, Guanyin attempts to force Tang San (Jin Chan Zi) to undertake the Western Journey by manipulating the Heavenly Court to withdraw protection from Chang'an City, allowing demons to terrorize the population. However, Tang San cleverly counters her scheme by using the Thunder Spirit Pearl to eliminate demons with thunderbolts marked "Wuliang Tianzun", protecting the city without directly participating in the journey. Guanyin is left frustrated and confused by this unexpected intervention, unable to comprehend who disrupted her carefully planned strategy.
