Summary

Li Yan Qing receives reports of catapults surrounding the city and commands the crossbows to fire freely. The Song army uses improved explosive arrows to disrupt the Jin army's preparations. The Jin army retaliates with oil barrels and fireballs, aiming to set the city wall ablaze, but the defenders manage to control the situation despite several fires igniting. Wanyan Xieye, frustrated by the lack of success in burning the city wall, orders the launch of Thunderclaps. One Thunderclap explodes near the city wall, causing chaos among the soldiers, while another severely damages the city tower, injuring some of Li Yan Qing's guards. As the Jin army prepares to attack, Li Yan Qing sounds the battle drums, and the defenders ready themselves for the imminent assault. The Jin soldiers charge forward with siege ladders as the battle intensifies.
