Summary

Xiao Chen realizes he is being targeted and must hide from constables searching for troublemakers. With the help of Ye Lian'er, he conceals himself in a medicinal bath barrel just as the constables enter. Ye Lian'er distracts them, allowing Xiao Chen to remain hidden. Outside, the constables announce a reward for information on foreign troublemakers who have killed a guardian beast. Meanwhile, Zhao Er, a local man, suspects something is off with the Ye Family. Inside, Xiao Chen learns about the oppressive state of Zhao Ming Country and the rise of the Divine Cauldron, which has led to increased arrests and torture of innocents.
