Summary

Du Fuwei ascends Yinlong Mountain with loyal soldiers, where they are constructing shelters and a defensive wall due to the presence of tens of thousands of troops. Once a prince, Du Fuwei feels despondent about his current status as a mountain bandit. After receiving news that their supplies have been seized by the Sui army, he realizes the gravity of their situation, with dwindling food reserves and no escape route. He ultimately decides to abandon the mountains and regroup at He Fei, where they have more supplies. Meanwhile, Cheng Yaojin, a general of the Sui army, is in Longdong Town gathering intelligence on Du Fuwei's forces while drinking heavily. He learns from a bartender that Du Fuwei's army has left the mountain for He Fei, prompting Cheng to plan a confrontation.
