Summary

The chapter describes the tragic tale of Ze Ma, a sorrowful princess imprisoned by the Demon King, drawing the attention of brave men eager to rescue her. Ze Ma, lamenting in her tower, prays for a hero. Meanwhile, a white wolf and a lioness, both chained, share in her sorrow. A Huihu warrior mocks the white wolf for losing his pride. The warrior kills a young man who tried to save Ze Ma and injures others. Ze Ma, despite her anger, dresses up and faces the aftermath of the failed rescue attempt. The chapter ends with Ze Ma quietly traveling through the desert, reflecting on her betrayal by A Sa Lan.
