Summary

Yue Chen expresses relief that everyone has survived, noting the harsh conditions they've endured. The middle-aged man reveals that resources are limited and that a man named Ji is dead due to survival struggles. The couple pleads with Yue Chen to help their sick conjoined daughter, who is deteriorating. Yue Chen decides to take them out of their hellish existence, and they are overwhelmed with joy. Upon exiting, they are blinded by sunlight and meet Zhang Lei and Ji Ruo Yun, who have been waiting for Yue Chen. They discuss their lives since Yue Chen's absence, including updates about Cai Tie Jun. Yue Chen instructs Zhang Lei to care for the family temporarily before leaving to meet Su Lan, who has changed significantly since they last met.
