Summary

The Chief of police, once subordinate to Qin Gu He, now holds significant power and is protective of Li Yun Dao amid a dirty bomb crisis. During a meeting, the Chief expresses confidence in Yun Dao's abilities, despite concerns for his safety due to family ties. After a night of planning, Li Yun Dao and George rest, while Qi Bao Si, who cares for them, worries about the dangers ahead. Their relationship deepens as she offers support, while Bai Ling, another character, reacts with frustration to Li Yun Dao's boldness. The chapter concludes with a shift to the next part of the story.
