Summary

In this passage, the protagonist finds himself on the Path of the Afterlife, a beautiful landscape with a wide path, wildflowers, and butterflies. A train arrives, discharging numerous ghosts accompanied by enforcers. An enforcer begins counting souls and notices an discrepancy. The protagonist considers two potential actions: being discovered or attacking the enforcer. Unexpectedly, Liu Peng, now a ghost officer, intervenes and prevents the protagonist from acting rashly, subtly helping him avoid detection by distracting the suspicious enforcer with flattery and redirecting attention.
