Summary

Under the influence of Fu Xi Ding, time could be momentarily halted, but afterward, beings would become stiff for over ten minutes. Chen Fan confronted Tong Yan Yan, accusing her of betrayal after the death of his brother at the hands of the Suzaku. Despite Tong Yan Yan's attempts to explain her innocence, Chen Fan demanded to be taken to the Saint Sect to kill the Suzaku or threatened to kill her first. Tong Yan Yan, realizing the futility of his anger, warned him that he was not strong enough to confront the Suzaku and then left. In the Demon Sect's Holy Land, Tong Yao expressed her anger at Tong Yan Yan for not dealing with Chen Fan, fearing he would become a threat. Tong Yan Yan questioned the value placed on Lin Wan Er over Chen Fan, but Tong Yao reminded her of the past and her dependence on her. Ultimately, Tong Yao decided to pursue the Suzaku's soul pearl to attempt its revival, despite concerns about its damaged state.
