Summary

Li Che, after learning about the attack on the Yang family at the Divine Cultivation Institute, picks up his daughter Xi Xi and decides to keep her away from the institute for her safety. He comforts her at home, where she expresses her fears and desires. Later, in his study, Li Che reviews the spoils from the attack, discovering valuable elixirs and martial techniques. He is particularly excited about mastering the "Confusion of Joy" cultivation method, which allows him to condense a third divine essence. With three of the seven emotions mastered, he contemplates the possibility of achieving divinity by mastering all seven emotions.
