Summary

Zhao Shu plans a grand birthday celebration for his father, Emperor Zhao Zhen, feeling it's his duty to honor him as his reign nears its end. They face financial challenges, but with help from Fo Yin, they secure funds for the celebration. They decide to present a carved jade Buddha statue as a gift, showcasing their respect and honor for the emperor. Meanwhile, King Ning An, engaged in city planning and development in the northwest, receives Zhao Shu's letter and decides to contribute 1 million taels to the birthday celebration, aiming for a grand display of loyalty and wealth from various nations and tribes.
