Summary

In the chapter, Lu Xun commanded an army of 20,000 soldiers in Liaodong to guard against their eastern neighbor, Goguryeo. He made good use of the Xiongnu and provided them with benefits like education and official positions. However, Lu Xun received a secret report that Liu Bao, who had previously supported Lu Xun, was planning to betray the Han Dynasty. Fearing a pincer attack from Liu Bao and Goguryeo, Lu Xun ordered his troops to quickly leave Liaodong and rendezvous with Cao Zhang in Youzhou. Though disappointed at losing Liaodong, Lu Xun was determined to take it back with honor and integrity, with Cao Zhang's troops under his command.
