Summary

Lu Sheng arrives in a small town near the Jade Chen Palace, seeking his mother, Tang Qingqing. He gathers information from locals, learning that the Tang Family is associated with the Tai Yi Dao and Izumi Sect. After climbing the mountain, he meets an old Daoist who helps him find the Izumi Sect. Lu Sheng prays there and inquires about his mother, but the little Taoist priest initially doesn't recognize her name. However, upon hearing her Taoist title, he agrees to notify her. Meanwhile, Tang Qingqing, who has distanced herself from her past, is approached by her master, Mu Rong, who urges her to confront her ties to the mortal world. Tang Qingqing remains resolute in her detachment from her past life.
