Chapter 76: The Woodcutter Under the Moon and the Monster's Adventure. [75]
Summary
In this chapter, General Cheng reflects on the irrationality of expecting animals to think rationally while observing the woodcutters and their interactions with a sparrow. He reunites with Teng Yuan Mei Hong, who has been waiting for him and has learned some spells to combat small monsters. They discuss the absence of a gap monster and the return of other monsters from the moon. Teng Yuan Mei Hong expresses her frustration with a character named Ba Yun Zi, who misled them during their moon expedition. General Cheng considers the implications of a nearby village inhabited by humans and decides not to drive them away. As winter approaches, they discuss the potential invasion of otherworldly beings and the recent sightings of Ba Yun Zi. General Cheng points out a gap in their cave that leads to the heavens, warning Teng Yuan Mei Hong about its dangers for ordinary monsters.Full content
