Summary

In Chapter Seventy-Six, the Hong Yi Shao Nü faces pressure from her guards to reconsider a risky venture outside the city. An old man, eager to sell a jade pendant, manipulates her desire, leading her to decide to go despite her guards' concerns. As they leave the city, two observers, Xiao Zhan and Nan Er Ming, suspect danger and follow them. They notice the old man's suspicious route and the disguised cottage where the Hong Yi Shao Nü is led. The old man introduces her to two elderly women, who appear friendly but may hide ulterior motives. The guards, initially wary, begin to lower their defenses.
