Summary

Zhao Huan and Wu Min discuss a student uprising against peace talks, suspecting Li Yan Qing's involvement. Wu Min downplays Li Yan Qing's influence, but Zhao Huan believes he is behind the agitation. Wu Min reveals that Li Xiang Guo was seen entering the Taixue, which angers Zhao Huan. They devise a plan to prevent the students from marching and to escort peace envoys out of the city. The next day, soldiers block the students' exit, leading to chaos and violence. Jia Guan learns the peace envoys have already left and urges a halt to the protests, which the students reluctantly agree to. Meanwhile, the court prepares for the peace negotiations, which ultimately succeed with minimal conditions. The Jin soldiers agree to withdraw for only 200,000 stones of horse feed, leading to celebration in the imperial study.
