Summary

Du Chen encounters Hou Tu, a powerful sage who recognizes his Ancestral Witch bloodlines. She emotionally hugs him, then quickly becomes suspicious about the origin of his essence blood. Hou Tu speculates that Yang Mei Old Ancestor might be Du Chen's mysterious master. When Du Chen cryptically agrees, she warns him about Di Cang's potential trouble. Sensing her potential disinterest in helping him, Du Chen boldly proposes a deal: her assistance in taking down Kshitigarbha Bodhisattva in exchange for daily hugs.
