Summary

Liu Chengfeng and Ning Qiushui face a terrifying situation when they discover the corpse of Police Superintendent Dong Que, covered in wounds. They encounter the vengeful spirits of Dong Que's parents, who believe Liu Chengfeng is responsible for their child's death. As they flee, they find another corpse and eventually reach a bus where they reunite with Xie Cheng and Xu Gang, who also survived thanks to a little girl’s guidance. The group reflects on the tragic events, realizing the true culprits are the parents, who remain unpunished. The chapter ends with a hint of unresolved tension as Meng Jun leaves, injured and secretive about his past.
