Summary

Yue Chen realizes the world is a dream and refuses to be trapped in it, choosing instead to head to the Jade Capital. After a transformation, he heals his injuries and prepares to leave the icy realm with Xiao Wan, Bai Man, and Da Huang. They bury an old man's corpse respectfully before stepping through a light curtain into a peach orchard, where they discover that seventeen years have passed in the outside world. They reunite with Hu Li, who reveals that Grandma and Uncle are well but that Grandma has been sorrowful due to Yue Chen's absence. Yue Chen decides to visit his family, urging Xiao Wan and Bai Man to do the same.
