Summary

In a dark forest, Lu Chen and his dog A Tu navigate their surroundings, with Lu Chen reflecting on a sealed letter he found, which evokes a complex mix of emotions. After burning the letter, he sets off southward toward the Jumping Tiger Gorge, retracing his steps to the desolate valley filled with memories of past conflicts. Over six days, they face numerous dangers, eventually arriving at the valley, notorious for its sinister aura and historical battles involving the Holy Cult and the Immortal Alliance. As Lu Chen approaches the valley, he encounters an old acquaintance, Lao Ma, who hints at another presence in the valley that wants to see him. With a heavy heart, Lu Chen enters the desolate valley, disappearing into its shadows.
