Summary

Ling Chen, now the God of War, leads a rebellion to avenge his parents' deaths at the hands of the Heavenly Emperor, Ling Jing. In a dramatic confrontation, Chi Xiao Mu intervenes, sacrificing herself to protect Ling Jing. This act awakens Ling Chen from his rage, realizing he inadvertently killed Xi’er. Ling Jing reflects on the tragic past where he had to kill Ling Chen's parents, who had been poisoned by the Demon Race. As Ling Xi lies dying, she expresses forgiveness, leading Ling Chen to agree to send her to the human realm, sacrificing her celestial status for her survival. Ultimately, Ling Chen retires, and Hei Wu Chang is appointed the King of Ghosts, devoted to protecting Chi Xiao Mu in her new life.
