Summary

At the top of a palace building, Yue Chen's aerial garden, "Cloud Water Retreat," blends modern and classical styles, featuring luxurious rooms, a swimming pool, and a tennis court. Four palace maids, selected by Madam Hua Rui, serve him, excelling in arts and coming from noble families. Yue Chen, aware of their ambitions, keeps his supernatural abilities hidden. After a troubling incident involving four black-clad figures and lethal worms, he receives a report about live training for the Sixth Infantry Company, composed of immigrants. Wanting to understand ordinary soldiers' needs, he decides to participate in the training. He later learns he will fill in for an ill soldier and prepares to join the military camp, reflecting on his dream of becoming a soldier. The Sixth Infantry Company is well-equipped for battles against terrifying creatures, structured into combat units without traditional squad formations.
