The Gate of the Mysterious Realm

Summary

Shi Mu receives a jade slip from Ta Ling, who advises him to remain true to his intentions as he seeks transformation. After leaving the Sacred Scripture Pavilion, Shi Mu discovers unfamiliar attendants in his spirit waterfall cave and confronts two men blocking his path, who claim to be the new masters of his cave. Frustrated, Shi Mu expands his divine sense but decides to leave. Meanwhile, Qi Feng, Shi Mu's former manager, is now mistreated and physically assaulted by a sharp-faced man, who has taken over Shi Mu's spirit land in his absence. Qi Feng endures the humiliation for the sake of his son, who is beginning to cultivate. Just as he is about to be attacked again, Shi Mu returns, surprising everyone, including Qi Feng, who is excited to see him. Shi Mu quickly retaliates against Lin Hu, the sharp-faced man, demonstrating his regained strength.
