Summary

In a secluded mountain village, a bloodied young man named You Hong Zhuo, nicknamed Doggie, stealthily kills several monks in a temple under the night sky. After a chaotic struggle, he slaughters a plump monk and a woman, then kills a girl he grew up with. Consumed by grief, he eats rice while crying, cleans his wounds, and finds some valuables before escaping into the wilderness. The village, once peaceful, has been ravaged by famine and the influence of the Great Guangming Sect, which led to the tragic events surrounding his family, including the violation of his mother by a monk.
