Summary

Zhao Jian regains his composure amidst chaos caused by an illusion array, witnessing ferocious puppets attacking him. He manages to defeat one puppet but realizes the situation is dire as disciples around him succumb to madness, attacking each other. In the midst of the chaos, he uses a golden jade talisman to escape. Meanwhile, Mo Lianhui and the Zhuyun young master also find ways to flee as the altar descends into bloodshed. High above, Yan Luo, having just advanced to the Holy Stage, watches the turmoil but is too drained to intervene. She reunites with Zi Ling, who reveals the dire events that transpired in Kunlun after Yan Luo's departure. They discuss the invasion by ancient barbarians and the consequences of their actions. Yan Luo vows to seek justice for Kunlun and begins to regain her strength using the Seven Treasures Miao Tree. After disappearing the Bao Yue Palace, she collects the corpses of fallen disciples. Outside the Kunlun Mystic Realm, Zhao Jian, the Zhuyun young master, and Mo Lianhui escape, each filled with anger and guilt over the losses suffered, yet they part ways without further conflict.
