Summary

Xiao Fan returns to the military camp to devise a plan for using explosives to breach the city wall. He researches creating a bomb pack and decides to bombard the wall with cannonballs and gasoline bombs. After testing, he sends teams of Zhan Jiang to install bombs at the wall's base while providing artillery cover. Despite facing heavy catapult fire, they successfully set up the explosives. When detonated, the wall remains standing but is severely damaged, with half of its thickness destroyed, making future repairs nearly impossible.
