Summary

Pei Zi Yun commands the Nü Guan to drink wine, leading to her violent reaction and eventual death, which the Infante initially misinterprets. Pei Zi Yun reveals that she had already died long ago, her body merely reacting. The Infante, realizing the gravity of the situation, decides to summon a mage for investigation. As chaos ensues, another Nü Guan arrives, mistakenly declaring the Infante dead, causing confusion. The Infante's wife, the Princess, enters, revealing her unease. Kyoko, another Nü Guan, suspects foul play and suggests the Wu Shi might be involved. Amidst the turmoil, a monk arrives to perform a ritual, heightening the tension.
